Duncan William Orders police to arrest his son for visiting a girlfriend in Lagos. Famous Ghanaian cleric Nicholas Duncan Williams and Daniel Duncan Williams, often known as Deewills and regarded as the “black sheep” of the family, are the subject of a new wave of scandal.
In a video that Daniel released online, he explained how his father had used his contacts to set up his arrest and hospital confinement on the pretext that he was ill and needed psychiatric care.
He complains that his relatives are quite nosy. So he decided to go to Nigeria to see his love without telling his family. His father, who had already left Togo, found out about his plans and stopped him in his tracks.
Daniel said in the video, “When I arrived to the border with Togo, my dad called the security people, and they detained me and told me lies about how I came up in their system and I was red flagged because my name is a threat name.”
Deewills revealed that he had been detained at a medical facility on the pretext that he was ill.
They held me for three hours while they waited for my dad’s personal security team to arrive at the border, picked me up, and then dropped me off at a hospital while claiming that I was insane, the man claimed.

“I need justice, they do this too often,” he said, pleading for the administration of justice. The way you treat your son, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, is unacceptable.
