Christian Atsu Confirmed Dead In Turkey Earthquake. Christian Atsu Twasam was a Ghanaian professional footballer who last played for Turkish Süper Lig club Hatayspor and the Ghana national team. He primarily played as a winger, although he was also deployed as an attacking midfielder. Atsu began his career with Porto, also spending a season on loan at Rio Ave.

One of his agents, Murat Uzunmehmet, has confirmed the discovery of his body under the rubble and other personal items, such as his phone. This devastating news comes 12 days after the disaster first struck.

Nana Sechere, an associate of Atsu’s, sorrowfully announced the news today that the body of Christian Atsu had been found. He extended his most sincere condolences to his family and those who held him close, expressing his gratitude for their prayers and support.
